CES Motorsport NEW BMW E36 Steedspeed Twinscroll Bottom Mount Turbo Manifold

"We are very proud to offer the newest and greatest BMW E36 Bottom Mount TwinScroll Turbo Manifold available on the market today!"

CES Motorsport has been in collaboration with Steedspeed for the last few years to produce the Ultimate Bottom Mount Twinscroll Turbo Manifold for the BMW E36.

This manifold comes with a T4 turbo flange,  and is capable of fitting turbos as large as a a Garrett 42R comparable size as a bottom mount, that can support as much as 1400 whp without the need for a scavenge pump.

The divided integrated wg port on the manifold accomodates a Turbosmart Hypergate 45 wastegate, and keeps the full twin scroll effect. Will also accomodate a Tial MVR 44 mm wg with some minor modification.

CNC'd out of Billet Steel and ceramic coated for Ultimate durability with machined ports like a tubular manifold for incredible flow.  It's the best of both worlds without having the risk of cracking like a tubular manifold will.

Turbos that have been test fitted range from the Garrett GT/GTX35R size, to the Precision 67R size and Precision Gen2 7285 CEA, to the Borg Warner 8374 EFR and 9180 EFR turbos with up to a 1.45 AR exhaust housing.

This manifold will also allow for clearance of the 8374 and 9180 Internally wastegated Borg Warner EFR turbos for those who wish to run an EFR turbo with this manifold and not have boost creep issues.

Competitively Priced versus other Twinscroll manifolds that also require dual wastegates and extra piping.

**PLEASE NOTE**

**You will need to run the dual internal/external wastegate combo in order to regulate boost pressure below 20 psi using an EFR turbo with this manifold due to the EFR's high spooling capabilities.**

UPDATE

UPDATED...testing the new 9180 EFR turbo system on the BMW E36 Shop Car

We were able to get tuning done this week on the 9180 turbo system.  We went to 80# injectors to add the additional fuel we needed.

Side by side 26 psi dyno comparison of our Borg Warner 8374 Turbo System vs our final tuned BW 9180 Turbo System...

26 psi on MS109 race fuel, 100 degree shop temps for the 9180 run.

And our peak hp and torque numbers with the 9180 turbo system pushed to 28.5 psi and meth system turned on...

and lastly, a side by side comparison of the 8374 system at the max psi we dynoed it vs the 9180 max run...

CES Motorsport begins testing the new 9180 EFR turbo system on the BMW E36 Shop Car....

The preliminary results are in running the new 9180 EFR turbo system on the BMW E36 shop mule!

Dyno Comparison of the 8374 efr 1.05 ar housing (red line) vs. the 9180 efr with the 1.45 ar housing (blue line) at 21 psi.

100 degree temps didn't stop the 9180 from making great power and spool at only 21psi.

and another comparison run at a little over 22psi (again with 98 degree temps)...

9-7-16

And another run at 26 psi.  We turned the meth system back on for these runs and added 5% fuel in the upper rpm range.  Starting to run out of fuel... but getting closer to the 800whp mark!

Still 98 degree shop temps, but here is a side by side 26 psi comparison of the 8374 vs the 9180.

More to come!

SteedSpeed BMW E36 Bottom Mount Twinscroll Manifolds are getting on the machines!!!  Production run should be warming up soon to begin placing orders!

CES Motorsport has been in collaboration with Steedspeed for the last few years to produce the Ultimate Bottom Mount Twinscroll Turbo Manifold for the BMW E36.  This highly anticipated Manifold is finally close to it's production readiness.  We have been holding off on updates since Leen at Steedspeed has just opened a new US facility and has purchased new machines to help boost production output.  We have been on standbye for quite sometime since Steedspeed's focus is primarily on Diesel Engine Manifolds.  We hope to have another update very soon with final pricing and availability.  This manifold will be capable of fitting turbos as large as a 42R style turbo that can support as much as 1400 whp without the need for a scavenge pump.  The divided wg port on the manifold accomodates a Turbosmart Hypergate 45 wastegate and keeps the full twin scroll effect.  Turbos that have been test fitted range from the GT/GTX35R size, to the Precision 67R size and 7285 CEA, to the Borg Warner 8374 and 9180 EFR turbos with up to a 1.45 AR exhaust housing.

CES Motorsport Borg Warner 9180 EFR 1000 whp capable BMW E36 Turbo System in Development

Who would have thought it would come to this? Borg Warner 9180 EFR turbo with a 1.45 AR housing as a bottom mount twinscroll on a BMW E36?  Yes indeed. CES Motorsport will now be able to offer a viable 1000whp capable bottom mount twin scroll turbo solution for the BMW E36 platform (no oil scavenge pump needed)... to go along with the GT/GTX35R systems and BW 8374 EFR systems we also offer utilizing the new steedspeed bottom mount T4 twinscroll manifold we have been working on with Leen Steed for the past couple years. Once the steedspeed E36 manifolds start hitting production, we will be able to begin taking orders... so please stay tuned and check our website for updates and pricing. We should have results of the new 9180 turbo system's performance and spool characteristics soon!

NEW Steedspeed BMW E36 twinscroll bottom mount turbo manifold teaser pics

T4 bottom mount twin scroll design with single divided wastegate port... to replace our current manifold design for all our E36 turbo systems.

The manifold has a much higher turbo flange to raise the turbo giving it the necessary fall to eliminate the need for a scavenge pump and possibly accomodate a larger turbo.... is a much more efficient and engine bay heat friendly bottom mount, super strong (no pipe welds to crack) true twin scroll manifold, utilizing a single large wastegate and re-route pipe like the previous design... making it a much more cost effective way to obtain true twin scroll effectiveness, without having to purchase two wastegates or having to deal with the hassle, and/or fitment issues involved with additional plumbing to accommodate the extra hardware. It will come as a single completed piece with thermal coating.

Price TBD

WannaGOFAST 1/2 Mile Run Event Heaven's Landing Airstrip in Clayton Georgia Sept 2014

CES MOTORSPORT participated in the Sept 2014 Wanna go fast Event at Heaven's Landing Airstrip in Clayton, GA for their 1/2 mile top speed event.  Two CES cars participated.  Our CES GTX35R Turbo M3 and SM3's CES 4094R Turbo M3.  For our first time running in a half mile event, both cars did exceptionally well...  with the 35R car posting a top speed of 168.5mph and the 4094R car posting an equally impressive 165.5 mph pass.  Both cars were making about 625whp for this event which should be noted was at almost 3000 ft elevation...  With weather rolling in, we were limited to only a few passes, but still were pleased with the results.  Special Thanks to photgrapher T. Parrish for the great shots of the event.
